Beyond the Classroom

About

My story

My name is Daniel, I am 25-years-old. As of September 2024 I am taking a break from teaching but will continue to tutor maths remotely.

I have spent the last four years teaching maths full-time at a state funded secondary school in Cambridgeshire to ages 11-18. I have adored my job, and though it is time for a change, I will miss teaching dearly.

I first experienced outstanding teaching as a student. The profound impact of my own teachers at secondary school informed my decision to read Mathematics at the University of Bristol before training to be a teacher myself at the University of Cambridge.
