Yes. I will need to speak to the pupil and/or parent/guardian to discuss things such as session regularity, access to technology and gain an understanding of the pupil and their needs.
The consultation can be over the phone or Zoom and is always free of charge. There is no commitment after this consultation whatsoever.
Factors such as age and access to technology will play a part, but activities in a session may include: helping with homework, reteaching misunderstood lesson content, revision for a class-test, or working consistently to improve exam technique using past-paper questions.
I aim to foster curiosity in pupils by wearing my enthusiasm of the subject on my sleeve. I believe maths can be a very anxiety inducing subject, so I strive to provide a relaxed but motivated environment to promote confidence in students.
